Zodiak

Hotel - Zodiak Entertainment Distribution has beefed up its MipTV slate by acquiring international rights to three shows, including UK indie Hat Trick Productions' comedy panel show Mock the Week.

Hotel di Surabaya The radio-to-TV crossover format, which airs on UK pubcaster BBC2 and diginet Dave and stars British comedians Frankie Boyle, Dara O'Briain and Russell Howard, will be making its MipTV debut next week.

Another UK show, commercial net Channel 4's Tower Block of Commons (4x60'), will be offered as a finished show and a format. The C4 series saw MPs spending eight days away from the comforts of Westminster, instead living on tough council estates to come face-to-face with real issues.

From the US, Zodiak has picked up MTV's reality job-hunter format Hired (20x30'), which is set for an American premiere later this year. It'll be available to buyers as a format or a finished show.
