Hotel - The spring season of Glee started off with a bang last week. The "Hello" episode debuted with record numbers, beating out American Idol with 2.650 million viewers. But things are just getting started. With guest stars like Neil Patrick Harris scheduled to make appearances, the hit Fox show promises to keep the momentum going in the nine-episode run.
Hotel di Jakarta - The How I Met Your Mother star will play Bryan Ryan, a returning former rival of Matthew Morrison’s character Will Schuester. Access Hollywood has the first pictures of Neil on the set with the Glee cast.
In an episode titled "Dream On", Neil will appear with the cast of Glee on May 18.
Glee creators have remained highly secretive about Neil's role on the show. But the show's creator, Brian Falchuk, couldn't keep quiet about how well Neil fit in with the cast. He said, "He was delightful, he was easy, he was all the things you wanted him to be. ...When we were writing the character, we were like, 'Oh my God, what if for some reason, Neil ...can't do it? No one else can play this character; we'll have to rewrite the whole episode!' "
Co-producer Ian Brennan was equally impressed and is eagerly awaiting a look at the finished product. "I'm really excited to see the cut of that episode, because I think it's gonna be really, really good and really funny."
While a recurring role for Neil's character has not been announced, the producers are open to the idea of a repeat appearance in the future.
In addition to Neil Patrick Harris, Molly Shannon, Kristin Chenoweth and Olivia Newton-John will join the Glee gang this season.
